WaterAid Myanmar’s 2019 – 2023 Country Program Strategy aims to empower excluded and marginalised communities, particularly women, girls, persons with disabilities and ethnic minorities by ensuring their active engagement across all WASH programmes.
This will contribute to better collaboration across various sector actors on a common WASH agenda for change. We also support the government in operationalising and roll out of the approved policies, guidelines and standards, which will help to improve accountability in the sector and good governance.
